1. General Information and Use

Welcome to Steady Guide. All information, documents, and resources provided on this website are for general informational and educational purposes only. We strive for accuracy and logic in our publications, but the content does not constitute professional, clinical, legal, or therapeutic advice.

Assumption of Risk: Your use of any materials, advice, or guides on this website is entirely at your own risk. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that any services, publications, or information available through this website meet your specific individual requirements.

2. Intellectual Property and Creative Commons

This website contains material owned by or licensed to Steady Guide, including the overall design, written articles, visual checklists, and custom brand logos.

Copyright and Creative Commons Licences: Unless otherwise specified, our educational reports and public resources are protected by copyright. Our regular publications, such as the Steady Guide Provider Pulse, are licensed under a **Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International Licence**.

Under this licence, you are free to share, copy, and redistribute the material in any medium or format, provided you give appropriate credit to Steady Guide, use the material strictly for non-commercial purposes, and do not distribute remixed or transformed versions of the content.

3. NDIS Service Enquiries and Bookings

To make an enquiry or request NDIS Support Coordination services on behalf of an individual, you must be the **NDIS Participant** or their **Authorised Representative** (such as a legal guardian, a child representative, or an active plan nominee). We reserve the right to verify legal authority and identity before proceeding with service delivery.

4. Ethical Conflict of Interest Protocol

Steady Guide is committed to the foundational NDIS principles of Choice and Control. We maintain a strict Conflict of Interest (COI) protocol to protect our clients:

The Ethical Firewall: This business is run by Jenny Mathers, and her son and husband both live with a disability and run their own businesses. These businesses are completely independent of each other and do not link to, recommend or interact with each other.

Unbiased Referrals: When we assist participants to connect with allied health providers in Toowoomba, Chinchilla, or Miles, we strictly apply the Three Provider Rule—presenting a minimum of three independent provider options. Our recommendations are entirely guided by your unique personal goals, and we accept zero kickbacks, commissions, or reciprocal quotas from other businesses.

5. Privacy, Data Security, and System Firewall

Your privacy is deeply critical to our family. Any personal or sensitive information collected via enquiry forms or newsletter sign-ups is handled in strict accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

Absolute Database Segregation: We enforce strict digital and physical separation between our clinical participant records and our commercial marketing data:

  • Sensitive Clinical Data: All NDIS participant files, logs, and agreements are held securely within Astalty and enterprise-grade Microsoft 365 servers located strictly in Australian data centres.
  • Commercial Marketing Data: Our newsletter list (Fluent CRM) resides on an entirely distinct database system.

Your sensitive clinical records are never exported, combined, or exposed to our marketing list or tracking pixels. You retain the right to view, correct, or request the deletion of your personal data under APPs 12 & 13 at any time.

6. Outbound and External Web Links

From time to time, this website may include links to external websites (such as the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission or community resources). These links are provided solely for your convenience and local information.

Endorsement Disclaimer: Outbound links do not signify that Steady Guide endorses the external website. We do not accept responsibility or legal liability for the content, privacy policies, or actions of any linked third-party websites.

7. Feedback, Concerns, and formal Complaints

We value your honest feedback and take all community concerns seriously. We aim to address and resolve any issues promptly, respectfully, and fairly.

If you have a concern, question, or wish to file a complaint regarding our services or your data, please contact Jenny directly at jenny@steadyguide.com.au. We will investigate and respond to your request within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to escalate your complaint to the independent oversight bodies listed in our footer.

8. Governing Jurisdiction

Your use of this website, any materials downloaded from it, and any dispute arising out of such use is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.

Conflict of Interest Disclosure: Steady Guide is an independent Support Coordination service. While we provide educational resources around the NDIS, the selection of providers is always the participant’s choice. We receive no referral fees or commissions from external providers.

External Regulatory Escalations: If you need independent support or wish to escalate a complaint, you can reach out directly to:
